How Long Should A CV Be?

A CV should not be too long and not be too short either. If you don’t have that much work experience then better find a way to make it a bit longer. If you have lots of work experience then better find a way to make it shorter. You’re actually at a huge advantage when you’ve been working for a long time because you can either put a lot of descriptions in your previous work or keep it short. Of course, better prioritize putting your main responsibilities for each job then decide whether there is still space to put the minor ones.
The reason why a CV should not be four or five pages long is because those interviewers would need to interview many people so they would not have that want to go through all those details. They would prefer it if you would keep it short and simple for them.
